Project Description
The project involves the construction of 55 miles of new four-lane green field divided toll road connecting Petersburg and Suffolk. Construction cost of $1,400 million. It was awarded in 2013 to a joint venture led by Cintra and construction began in 2014. Project was later suspended in 2015 due to pending environmental approvals from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
