Nipigon River Bridge
Project Description
First cable-stayed bridge in Ontario, Canada with two spans of 139 and 113 m. Located within the Trans-Canada Highway, it replaced a 40-year-old steel plate girder bridge with piers in the water in the need to be removed.The project was awarded to Ferrovial Agroman Canada in a joint venture with Bot Construction in May 2013, and opened all lanes to traffic in Fall of 2018.
